The Word is out: Wearable Tech is in and Google wants to be a leader. Already, the idea of wearing one of these has come under ridicule eventhough they were launched in 2012 in New York in Dianne Von Furstenberg’s runway. I was actually backstage after this show, and was meeting Ms. Furstenberg herself, was sporting a pair and by this sheer brand alignment she put it on the map in fashion circles. Or, so they tried.
The jury is still out about the GOOGLE GLASS but what is sure is that the movement in technology towards a more “wearable’ future is already here. Watch this space, as we’re going to report more on how the brands and companies will be scrambling to catch this next revolution.
